Courtesy of Live NationPop-rock will meet pop-punk this summer when Bryan Adams and Billy Idol team up for the first-ever joint tour. The U.S. trek features a total of eight dates, mapped out from an August 1 concert in Gilford, New Hampshire, through an August 12 show in Bristow, Virginia.

Tickets for the tour dates go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 3, 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com. Citi card holders will be able to buy pre-sale tickets starting this Wednesday, May 1, at 10 a.m. local time through the Citi EntertainmentSM program. Visit CitiEntertainment.com for full details.

Adams also has a bunch of upcoming North American headlining shows lined up this year, starting with a gig this Saturday, May 4, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Canadian rocker is promoting his latest studio album, Shine a Light, which was released in March.

As for Idol, his 2019 itinerary includes a handful of festival performances and headlining concerts in the U.S. in Canada in July, as well as a Las Vegas residency in October at Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Theater.
