
Spring is almost in the air, but for now it’s just the flu.
Flu cases are still high around Michigan. Dr. Crystal Arthur of McLaren Health said the waiting game is some times the best medicine to beat the flu.
“Viruses are self-limited, meaning they go away on their own,” Arthur said. “We’re grateful for that, but it’s miserable to be sick while you’re going through the heat of battle. So getting enough rest, making sure you’re hydrating, staying away from other people while sick, of course, to limit the spread of illness is the key.”
Dr. Arthur went on to say that they see flu cases in all age groups.
