The Berrien County Road Department has reopened Log Cabin Road in Weesaw Township after the completion of a culvert project.

The department says Log Cabin will now remain open until the spring, when the culvert will have to be paved over.

Both Log Cabin Road and Pardee Road closed on November 21 for the culvert work. Pardee reopened about two weeks ago, but the Log Cabin project took a little longer.

The road department says the previously-posted detours are no longer necessary.
