The annual icebreaker festival returns to South Haven this weekend.

South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce assistant director Olivia Thompson tells us there will be plenty of fun for the entire family, including ice sculptures, arts and crafts, chili, and other outdoor activities.

“We want everybody to come and have a good time,” Thompson says. “It’s a great place for families, everyone from all ages, all walks of life can come and have fun. Most things such as the snowsuit fashion competition, the horse-drawn wagon rides, the silent disco, are all free for everybody.”

The free event will take place throughout downtown South Haven starting Friday. On Saturday, the big events, such as the chili cook-off, horse-drawn wagon rides, and frozen fish fling, will occur.
