Congressman Tim Walberg is welcoming the new Trump administration as Donald Trump was sworn in as the nation’s 47th president Monday. After attending the ceremony, Walberg said it was a privilege to witness history in person.

“The American people sent us a clear message to support the Trump agenda, and I remain committed to working with my colleagues to do just that,” Walberg said. “We’ll tackle inflation, secure our border, unleash American energy production, and more to put our country back on track.”

Walberg says with a new administration, an effort can begin to ensure the United States remains competitive on the global stage. He calls America’s future “truly bright.”

Walberg promised as the chair of the House Education and Labor Committee to work with the new administration.
