A Michigan State University student with end-stage kidney disease is still searching for a living donor.
20-year-old Liam Clegg, a junior studying advertising, was diagnosed in October and is living at his parents’ home in Bloomfield Hills while undergoing regular dialysis. Clegg says he’s controlling what he can during this process.
“Hope for getting back to normal life is also one of the best things I can have to keep myself positive,” Clegg said. “I try on most weekends to go back up to school and see all my old friends and just kind of get a little slice of what normal life is like for me. I still have my apartment. I still, everything’s up there. I just, I’m not there.”
Anyone who can help should go to the Facebook or Instagram page, “A kidney for Liam Clegg.”
