The 2024 Stuff a Truck event was one for the record books.
Y Country’s Jonny Reinhardt tells us after a week full of collecting donations from the community, they were able to raise over $37,000 and fill close to five trucks, which equates to 100 shopping carts.
“This year was a fantastic year, getting so many donations from individuals, families and schools to help out the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency,” Reinhardt says. “All those donations that people gave are going right back into the community, Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties, and we can’t thank them enough.
Local area schools including New Buffalo elementary, St. Joseph’s Lincoln and E.P Clarke elementary, Berrien Springs’ Sylvester Elementary, and Lakeshore middle school also helped pitch in with donations.
Y Country and the SMCAA are very thankful for all the families, schools, and everyone who helped out for this years event.
