Tis the season to give back to the community and others with Y-Country’s 28th annual Stuff a Truck fundraiser event.

Y Country’s Jonny Reinhardt tells us all this week at Roger’s Foodland in St. Joseph, people can donate canned goods or other nonperishable items to help restock the pantries and support the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency.

“Things are going great so far for stuff of truck worry every year we benefit the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency,” Reinhardt says. “Every donation that you make from the non-perishable food items to cash donations it goes right to the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency and those donations stay right here in our community. That’s why we love working with them.”

97.5 Y Country staff will be at Roger’s Foodland every day this week from 6 am to 6 p.m. until Friday. They will also be there for a short period of time Saturday morning. Reinhardt tells us it feels good to be able to give back to such a great cause year in and year out.

“It means a lot to me to be able to be a part of this,” Reinhardt says. “I know it’s the season of giving and it’s the time where you can give back. Whatever you can donate whatever you have the ability to do whether it’s one dollar one can every little bit every dollar every item is going to help those in our community.”

Anyone can stop by and either drop off items from their home or buy items from Roger’s or other stores. You can also make a donation online.
