The Allegan County Community Foundation has announced more than $320,000 in scholarships to students in the area. The foundation has released the following:

“As part of our continued commitment to positively impacting Allegan County through education, Allegan County Community Foundation (ACCF) is pleased to announce that $321,743 in scholarships has been awarded this year to 148 deserving students across Allegan County. These scholarships represent 63 unique opportunities, empowering students of all ages and backgrounds to pursue their academic and professional dreams.

From high school seniors beginning their college journey to adult learners returning to school, the scholarships awarded by ACCF support a wide range of educational pathways, including skilled trades. In addition to new awards this year, 35 renewals were processed, ensuring continued support for past recipients to continue on their educational paths.

“Our community values higher education whether skilled trades or traditional college experiences; so many donors want to support the educational pursuits of their neighbors. We are grateful to be part of this amazing generosity in our community.” shares ACCF President/CEO Stephanie Calhoun.

We are grateful to the local school districts that partner with ACCF, making scholarships accessible through one streamlined platform. Their collaboration ensures that more students have access to the funds they need to follow their dreams.
