Planning a trip over the Labor Day weekend? Travel writer Heather Greenwood-Davis says at least 150 million Americans will travel even after many recent travel delays and cancellations caused by an internet outage.
“I think the trouble with travel is going to continue as there are going to continue to be bumps,” Davis said. “That’s a lot of people making their way, but what I do find is that people are making different choices about how they’re going to travel and where they’re going to travel. So, all-inclusives, for example, are gaining in popularity.”
Greenwood-Davis says a lot of people are traveling to Mexico, Europe, and South America. Domestically, she says the south, California, New York, and Boston are popular holiday destinations.
