ABC/Image Group LAOzzy Osbourne has had to cancel a medical trip to Switzerland due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The metal legend’s wife, Sharon, revealed the news during Monday’s episode of her talk show The Talk.

“We had to cancel our trip to Switzerland,” she said. “We were meant to go the eighth of April, but we had to cancel, for his treatment.”

Ozzy was scheduled to go to Switzerland to treat the various health issues he’s battled over the past year or so, ranging from pneumonia to complications from neck surgery. He cited the trip as part of the reason why he had to postpone his upcoming solo tour, which had been scrapped in mid-February, before the coronavirus really started to affect the concert industry.

“I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks,” Ozzy said at the time.

Earlier this year, Ozzy also revealed that he’d been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
