
With March fourth here, Midwest Family Marketing and Media is marching forth to showcase the non-profits making a difference in Southwest Michigan.
From now through March 31, Midwest Family is partnering with businesses and those non-profit groups to share the story of the things they do to support the community. Midwest Family COO Dave Doetsch tells us the businesses are underwriting part of the cost of giving the non-profits an advertising blitz.
Whether it’s a spot on the radio, a podcast, or a video, everyone will get a chance each day to learn all about the groups that support others.
“You might say, ‘Wow, this one really matters to me, and I want to help them, or that one I didn’t know about. I want to contribute to that, or maybe volunteer for that,’” Doetsch said. “So really, using the power of our media channels to give the attention they deserve, because once people know, then they’ll have a greater opportunity to decide whether or not they want to support it.”
Sunny 101.5, Y-Country, and WSJM will be airing special messages in support of March Forth to Support. There will be messages each and every day, encouraging listeners to go to a landing page on our station website to learn more about local non-profit organizations and the good work they are doing in our communities. You’ll also see a bunch of social media posts showcasing these non-profits.
Doetsch says many people may not know about some of the groups that serve the community, but now they’ll get a chance to learn as we March Forth to Support non-profits.
