Whirlpool Corporation, in partnership with Mosaic CCDA, is hosting a dynamic hands-on career exploration event specifically designed for Benton Harbor high school students involved in the Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates program on Wednesday.

Marketing and communications coordinator from Youth Solutions Amina Chatti, tells us how this mentorship initiative allows Benton Harbor students to gain crucial insights and real-world job experience, empowering them as they prepare to enter the workforce.

“They get to see all the different departments and all the different, many, many opportunities, within a different company,” Chatti says. “It definitely opens their eyes to all the different potential opportunities out there for them and different career paths that they can take. And they get to speak with real employees there and get to learn more about their experience and their career path journey.”

With this program having positively impacted over 100 JMG Benton Harbor students, it plays a vital role in helping them discover their passions and define their career aspirations for the future.
