The Lions may not have made it to the Super Bowl, but someone from Michigan will be represented.

6-month-old Trixie, a Plott hound from the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, will be participating in the 21st annual Puppy Bowl. Trixie had a photo shoot, and has already met all the Puppy Bowl dogs, according to Kinsey VanKuiken with the Humane Society.

“This is just wild to me,” VanKuiken said. “I mean, it’s crazy that our little shelter in Harbor Springs, Michigan was chosen to participate in the Puppy Bowl for 2025 and to my knowledge, this is our first time at the Puppy Bowl, so it was just a whole new experience for everybody and to have our shelter put on the map a little bit bigger and have people hear us and hear about us and our mission, it’s just incredible to me.”

Trixie is on team FLUFF. Rory from the Big Lake Humane Society in Muskegon will also be on Team Fluff.
