It’s 2025 and what do you want when it comes to your career?
There’s some new research on what workers are looking for. 70% of employees want more money, and 41% want more flexibility in how and where they work, according to Robert Half Research. Robert Half’s Shannon Edlinger told us more.
“We saw it moving into 2023, moving into 2024, and now moving into 2025, we now have a higher salary top of list, opposed to the last two years where we saw that flexibility piece really reign as the number one reason people are leaving their current positions and what they’re looking for coming into a new year,” Edlinger said.
Edlinger says inflation is the reason for people wanting more money. 40% are looking for a promotion or greater responsibilities.
