Three Oaks Township is no longer being provided police services by the village of Three Oaks Police Department.
The village put out word to township residents this week that as of January 1, the agreement between the township and village for police protection has not been renewed.
The village tells township residents who need police assistance to call dispatch to be connected with either the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department or Michigan State Police instead. The village of Three Oaks also encourages all township residents to update their contact information to reflect the necessary police agency should they be in need of assistance.
Anyone with questions should call the Three Oaks Township office.
We have reached out to the Three Oaks Village Manager and Township Manager for comment, but were unable to reach them Thursday.
