With a new year, many of us have made new year’s resolutions.

Dr Asha Shajahan from Corewell Health suggests not to over complicate your resolutions.

“You want to have a plan around what you want to do,” Shajahan said. “Some people say they want to sleep better. I said, okay, how are you going to do that? How are you going to track it? Do you have a sleep app that you’re downloading? So it’s like really thinking of ways that you can track your progress, and it’s more likely that you will stick with it.”

Shajahan says a new year’s resolution is a good way to set the tone for the new year. She adds that the more specific the resolution, the more successful you’ll be.
