Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph has welcomed its first baby of the year.

Baby Anthony was born Thursday at 6:41 a.m. to parents Leslie and Jesus.

Anthony weighed in at eight pounds, seven ounces, and is 21 inches long. He was originally due on January 5, but arrived a little early.

This is the family’s second baby.
