The Coloma Lions Club is planning a Community Soup Dinner to raise money for HOPE Resources.

HOPE Resources is a non-profit founded in 2017 that procides assistance to residents of the Coloma, Watervliet, and Hagar Shores areas. It was formed when the North Berrien Food Pantry and the Plymouth Congregational Church food pantry in Watervliet combined forces, and it provides food and clothing to those in need.

The Coloma Lions Club is inviting everyone to come out to the soup dinner next Thursday, January 9 from 5 to 6 p.m. It says the dinner will include a choice of homemade chili and a variety of soups, salad, fixings, and a selection of desserts.

All proceeds will go to HOPE Resources and the cost will be $5.

The Soup Supper will be held at the Columbian Club, or the Knights of Columbus, at 7545 Paw Paw Avenue in Watervliet.
