The kickoff to the holiday shopping season wrapped up Monday with Cyber Monday.

Stores offered online deals for TVs, electronics, appliances, clothes, and toys. However, experts warn not all deals are, in fact, bargains. The Michigan Retailers Association has released a list of members with Michigan-based e-commerce websites for Cyber Monday shopping across the state. Vic Veda from the association told us more.

“The online shopping is really growing and gaining a lot of traction, and with that, there are a lot of opportunities to shop smal,” Veda said. “So we’re encouraging shoppers to make Cyber Monday a Michigan Monday by looking for Michigan-based e-commerce. We have a list on BuyNearbyMI.com of our members that have e-commerce-based websites so you can shop online and do shipping or in-store pickups.”
