Glenlord Road between Red Arrow Highway and Ridge Road will be closed to all eastbound traffic starting Wednesday. Berrien County Road Department will be resurfacing the road with hot mix asphalt following roadway milling.

Road department’s Adri Boone tells us there will be a detour for Steward Elementary school access.

“With the traffic going in or out of Stewart Elementary School, all traffic needs to flow coming into the work zone from Red Arrow Highway and all traffic has to exit towards Ridge. So what that does is it helps facilitate a safer work zone for both the construction crews and those using the roadway.

All traffic exiting the school will be required to travel toward Ridge Road. Boone says as long as weather permits, they anticipate that road be impacted just one day.
