Our WSJM Sports Player of the Week is Jake Franklin of Buchanan Bucks football.

Jake is a senior at Buchanan High School

Jake returned to the lineup at quarterback against Dowagiac last week after breaking his collar bone earlier in the season. In the Bucks 35-18 Lakeland Conference win at Dowagiac, Jake was 18 of 32 passing for 262 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Jake is a three sport athlete at Buchanan and in addition to football Jake also plays Basketball and Baseball.
In the classroom, Jake carries a 3.7 Grade Point Average
