Coming this weekend to Madeline Bertrand County Park is the 39th annual Fall Disc Golf Derby.
Love Creek County Park manager Derek Tyler says this single tournament will feature two rounds of 21 holes with food, prizes, an ace pot, and trophies.
“I mean, these are pretty regular players that play here two, three times a week,” Tyler said.
Players ages 18 and up participate in the popular event, placed in different divisions based on skill level. Tyler says at the end of the day, it’s about having fun.
Registration is open now until Saturday’s start time and is $25 per player. Registration on Saturday is $30. Gates open 8:30 a.m. followed by a players meeting around 9:15 a.m.
Lunch will be served as part of the tournament and trophies will be awarded. For more information, contact the Madeline Bertrand County Park.
