Voters in South Haven are being invited to a forum next week featuring candidates running for seats on the South Haven Public Schools Board of Education.
The forum, sponsored by the American Association of University Women of South Haven, will be held on Monday, September 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lake Michigan College’s South Haven campus. The doors will open at 6:30.
Sponsors say voters are invited to come and ask questions of the candidates. Candidates who have agreed to attend include Doug Ransom, S. Grassflower, Malissa Acosta, Leta Covington, and Justin Ingraham.
The South Haven School Board election will be November 5. Several school board races in Van Buren County will be decided that day in addition to the federal and state elections.
