A South Haven woman is facing charges after she allegedly pulled a gun on another driver in the drive thru of the South Haven McDonald’s Tuesday morning.

The South Haven Police Department says officers were called to 1025 LaGrange Road after the 24-year-old woman was reported to have pulled the gun on another driver. When they got there, the woman was still in line waiting for her food.

The woman was arrested and taken to the Van Buren County Jail on charges of assault and carrying a concealed weapon. Police say they found a nine millimeter handgun in her car.

The incident prompted an external lockdown at South Haven High School for about ten minutes.
