U.S. companies report an increase in productivity, according to a new survey by staffing firm Robert Half.

Shannon Edlinger is an assistant vice-president for the company and told us more.

What Robert Half’s survey concluded is that nearly seven in ten managers report an increase in employee productivity compared to just one year ago,” Edlinger said. “A couple of different reasons are cited for this conclusion, and a big reason is improved management practices since going hybrid, having different types of schedules.”

Edlinger says another reason we’re seeing an improvement in productivity is stronger staff training and the adoption of new technologies through artificial intelligence. She says some employees are working longer hours, but she says the rate of burnout hasn’t changed much over the past year.
