Some staff at the Michigan State Police fifth District Headquarters in Paw Paw have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into possible policy violations.

The state police haven’t specified exactly what’s being investigated, but a district commander, an assistant commander, and a lieutenant are involved in the investigation.

As of Tuesday, the unnamed assistant commander is on temporary assignment outside of the district, while the lieutenant is still working within the district while under investigation.

Lieutenant Chuck Christenson is serving as the acting commander at the headquarters while the investigation is being reviewed.
