Billboard reports that the three musicians began the show with acoustic renditions of three of their songs — “Coffee Blues,” “Lovin’ You” and “Full Measure” — and that Sebastian spent most of the concert on stage accompanying the various other performers.

Later in the show, the Lovin’ Spoonful members took the stage to perform “Summer in the City,” “Jug Band Music” and, as a final number with the show’s entire cast, “Do You Believe in Magic?

As previously reported, the show was the latest in a series of themed tribute concerts organized in recent years by The Wild Honey Orchestra — a rotating collective of Los Angeles-area musicians — to raise money for the Autism Think Tank charity.

“When I realized the scope of this project, I was just so impressed with the effort,” Sebastian told Billboard. “I guess their first question was, ‘Would you come and play harmonica on ‘Night Owl Blues’? I said, ‘Well, sure, but I know a lot of these songs.’ And they say, ‘Oh, you mean you’d like to play?’ And I said, ‘Damn right, I’d play!'”

Among the evening’s many other guest performers were The MonkeesMicky Dolenz, Susan Cowsill, Marshall Crenshaw, Carnie Wilson, former Ikette Claudia Lennear, Dave Alvin, Iain Matthews, Dramarama‘s John Easdale and actor/musician Bill Mumy. Founding Cars guitarist Elliot Easton, meanwhile, played as part of The Wild Honey Orchestra.
